Project
This project draws origin by the
will of the organizers to give a great event to Friuli
Venezia Giulia with the object to contribute to
knowledge of traditions, of architectonic and cultural patrimony
of the region, from historical and economic values, representing
reality and protagonists.
The experience
Villa Manin
International is based on the professional competence of a well-established
team and in the last years has realized the principal equestrian
events of the east north just like : « 1° Trophy Villa
Gorgo «, evolved in the « Villa Gorgo
International », horse race of jump to obstacles CSI**.The
sucess of these manifestations has taken to realize « Villa
Manin International », an international competition of
horse jumping CSI**, they arrived at the third edition in the
prestigious « salon » of Villa Manin of
Passariano, image of the region Friuli Venezia
Giulia in the world.
The formula
The sporting event plans a rich
corollary of secondary displays, exclusive full-dressed evening
meals, concerts, film projection, shows, fashion parades,
representing episodes of the past epoch, parades of military
cavalryman with historical uniforms. Villa Manin
International is a great event of sport and performances that
brings Friuli Venezia Giulia among the principal
stage of the international equitation.
The concept
The project has a new
organizational formula for horse race of jump to obstacle with
its realization in historical-architectural places of
particular prestige, creating a symbiosis among the beauty of
the manifestation and the environment.
The object is to realize an annual
appointment to contribute to the diffusion of the equestrian
sport and to provide incentatives of the national and
international tourism, promoting the architectural and cultural
patrimony of the territory.
Villa Gorgo
The first experience was done in
September 2001, in the seventeenth-century old Villa Gorgo and
had motivated the organizers to continue with the undertaken
program, with « Villa Gorgo National 2002 » and in the wake of
the widespread consents, one debuts with the formula CSI** Villa
Gorgo International 2003*. The edition 2004 completes with
success the experimentation of the new organizational formula
and closes the season of Villa Gorgo to open that
prestigious one of Villa Manin of
Passariano.
Villa Manin
The experience of Villa Gorgo
merged with that of Villa Manin and the project
continues and it becomes more and more great. The first edition
of the Villa Manin International has taken place
in July 2005. The second one from 6th
– 9th of
July 2006 gets to the Olympus of the great horse race of jumping
to obstacles to the world level, with formula CSI to three stars
and prizes of €70.000,-- with 210 horses and more than 80 riders
as participants among them the most important names of the great
national and international riders, in representation of 11
nations. After this success, achieved justly the contest is
started to becoming a recurrent appointment in the great
international competitive season.
